Instrumental assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is performed with ergonomically designed tools that detect and treat fascial restrictions.  It encourages rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.  It is utilized alongside therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and modalities to effectively treat biomechanical deficiencies and imbalances.
